This is my latest painting in the I DO Know Jack! series. It is the 15th in the series. While not conforming exactly, this is intended to emulate the 16th century Dutch realist artists with dark backgrounds and strong shadows set on a linen covered table. I'm really happy with how this turned out!
 
This painting was accepted as a finalist in Acrylicworks 10: The Best of Acrylic Painting and will be featured in a special edition magazine presented by Artists Magazine/American Artist in September 2023. It also was a finalist in the 2023 Richeson75 International Still Life & Floral Competition of 75 paintings from artists from around the world and was voted the People's Choice Award. In addition it will be appearing on the Americn Art Collector website in the Fall of 2023. And, finally, it is a finalist in the 2023 Fall Salon Online Exhibit sponsored by the International Guild of Realism.
